Airborne Assault MuseumWhilst still a prisoner, Sgt Barnbrook was painted by a Dutch PoW artist Gerardus Van den Hoogen, who used bricks and soil from the camp to make the colours. It reads: 'from Bing to Mother' and is dated 17 April 1945.
