Airborne Assault MuseumThe Airborneplein (The Airborne Square) in Arnhem was constructed as a memorial after the Second World War. The first commemoration of the Battle of Arnhem was held here on 17 September 1945. A roundabout has now been built around the original memorial which was created from a damaged pillar of the former Palace of Justice. These photos were taken during the 68th commemorations of Arnhem.
