At the end of the Cadre the compulsory party was held during the course of which Cpl Sibley, the Company ‘Doctor’ (Witch Doctor) gave a practical demonstration of suturing to the assembled multitude using the head of Pte Robson, who had collided with a table, as the model. This was carried out to the accompaniment of a Punk Rock Group who thought it was all too dangerous.
