Lance Corporal Ronald Frederick Russell served with 225 Para Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps, and took part in the D-Day landings to Normandy on 5-6 June 1944.Lance Corporal Russell died on 7 June 1944, aged 29 years old. He is now buried at Ranville Churchyard, near the War Cemetery, in Normandy.
