Airborne Assault MuseumChris Saunders served with Airborne Forces in the late 1940s.Chris enlisted as a Fusilier, before joining Airborne Forces, completing Parachute Course 184 at RAF Ringway in November 1945. After a spell with a Holding Battalion, he went on to join 6th (Royal Welch) Parachute Battalion, and then later the 4th/6th Parachute Battalion in 1947.
