Matthew Charles Marshall enlisted into the Parachute Regiment in 2007.When Private Marshall passed P Company (Coy) he was posted to B Coy, the 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (2 PARA).
He was deployed on Herrick VIII with 6 Platoon, B Coy in 2008.
Lance Corporal Marshall moved to C Coy in 2010 and later deployed on Herrick XIII.
Corporal Marshall spent time as an instructor at ITC Catterick before returning to B Coy 2 PARA
