Stephen Anthony Lewis joined 3 Company 10 PARA in early 1976. He did his first 7 training jumps on 2 August 1976.
In the spring of 1977 he joined the regular Army and went to Depot in Aldershot. Where He took part in basic parachute jump training, which consisted of 8 jumps from C130 aircrafts. These jumps started on 7 October 1977.
In November 1977 he joined 4 Platoon B Company 1 PARA. In late 1980 he joined the Intelligence Section as unit photographer.
He served in Northern Ireland and Hong Kong.
