Cpl Pritchard transfered from the Royal Warwickshire Regiment.  He attended course 71 at RAF Ringway as a Private, between the 5 July 1943 and the 17 July 1943 and joined the 8th Battalion, The Parachute Regiment.  On his course report he is recorded as "Intelligent- quick to learn.  Jumped well. Make good NCO".Cpl Pritchard was killed in action on the 24 March 1945 during Operation Varsity.
