Iain Bowen joined in February 1968 and qualified as a paratrooper in the Rhodesian SAS on 4 July 1968 after attending Basic Static Line Course 24 at No 1 Parachute Training School at New Sarum.He served for 11 years in 'C' Squadron apart from a secondment to No 1 PTS.
