Lance Corporal Brian Aydon

Brian A Aydon enlisted in September 1971 into Recruit Platoon 373.

Passed out with 374 Platoon after injury at Abingdon and posted to D (Patrol) Company 1 Para in Palace Barracks, Belfast.

Brian served in D Coy for three years as a Patrol Medic/Dems. The was transferred to B Coy as Company Clerk and promoted to L/Cpl.

Brian later served with B Coy in Montgomery Barracks in Berlin.
