Percival Robert Locke was the husband of Pauline O Locke, of Upper Holloway, London.He served with the Royal Artillery during World War II prior to volunteering for airborne forces in 1942.

Pte Locke qualified as a military parachutist on course 28 which ran at RAF Ringway in September 1942 and was posted to T Company, 1st Parachute Battalion shortly before it deployed to North Africa for Operation Torch.

Pte Locke died on 3 February 1943, aged 22 years old, during the assault to capture Djebel Mansour from German forces. He is now commemorated on the Memorial at Medjez-el-Bab War Cemetery, Tunisia.
