Richard Bagshaw served with B Company, 15th (Scottish Volunteer) Battalion, The Parachute Regiment.  He Joined in 1981 and passed P Company selection as a 'Tom' same year. 

He later trained as an Officer Cadet through Direct Entry Scheme 1981-82. 

Passed out of Royal Military Academy Sandhurst as a Second Lieutenant in 1982. Qualified as military parachutist 1982.

2/Lt Bagshaw was 4 Platoon Commander from 1982-1984. 

Regretfully Lt Bagshaw had to leave due to overseas work commitments and transferred to the Reserve in 1985.
