James ‘Yorkie’ Vosper served with 23 Parachute Field Ambulance RAMC from 1958-60After completing parachute training course 474 at RAF Abingdon from 8 September to 2 October 1958, he was posted to Parsons Barracks, Aldershot under Lt Col A M Ferrie.

Lance Corporal Vosper served in Cyprus and afterwards undertook exercise jumps in Norway, North Africa, Scotland and the UK.
