Darren Hope served in Northern Ireland, Iraq TELIC 1 and Afghan HERRICK 4 and 8. 

He started with 3 PARA in June 99 serving in B and C Coy before moving to the mortars in Sp Coy.

Darren then spent 2 years 2010 to 2012 as an instructor at the Mortar Division and then again 2018 to 2020 as the DSM. He was also the Mortar PSI in 4 PARA 2014 to 2016 then went to 2 PARA mortars as the 2ic.

Darren is  currently Sp Coy CSM 2 PARA.
