John Thomas Renshaw was born in Mansfield, in 1924.Bombadier Renshaw served with 33rd Airborne Light Regiment, Royal Artillery and served in Palestine.

Bdr Renshaw was killed on the 18 October 1947 and is now buried in Khayat Beach War Cemetery, Israel.
