Edwin C C Prosser served with The RAC before volunteering for the airborne forces. 

He was jump trained at RAF Ringway on course 77. This course ran between 9 and 18 August 1943. Records suggest he went on to serve with The 6th Parachute Bn, B Coy in South of France and Italy. 

Edwin was awarded a Military Medal which is recorded in The London Gazette 13 December 1945 and 27 June 1946. 

Edwin joined the Army Reserves 2 April 1946.
