From opposite ends of the country, Colchester-based airborne gunners and musicians sent 69th birthday greetings to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales today (14 Nov).

The 105mm Light Guns of G Parachute Battery (Mercer's Troop), 7th Parachute Regiment Royal Horse Artillery fired a 21-gun salute at Edinburgh Castle, while The Band of The Parachute Regiment played at the firing of a salute at Cardiff Castle by 104 Regiment Royal Artillery.
