"If memory serves me correctly, the exercise lasted two weeks during which a regular Parachute Regiment Company would do some exchange training with the RCP - weapons training; parachuting from various French aircraft; a bit of the cultural side of life - wine tasting etc; and ending with a semi-tactical exercise in the French countryside in which the main feature was a long tab (hence, presumably, Quickstep)."
